Russell's Reserve's New Single Rickhouse Release, Westland Garryana's First 10 Year Old, and O.H. Ingram's Flagship
October 20, 2025 –––––– Julia Higgins
Russell’s Reserve is back with a new iteration of Single Rickhouse, the highly sought-after collection that first launched in 2022 and has since achieved cult status. Westland Distillery, meanwhile, marks a major milestone with the release of Garryana 10th Edition, which carries a 10 year old age statement. And finally, O.H. Ingram, which ages its whiskeys on barges moored to the banks of the Mississippi River, has a new iteration of its Flagship bourbon label, an annual release.
Russell’s Reserve Single Rickhouse Collection: Camp Nelson E bourbon (2025 Release)
ABV: 64%
SRP: $300
Availability: Limited
This year’s Russell’s Reserve Single Rickhouse release is the fourth in the series. At 64% ABV it’s the highest proof bottling ever released from Russell’s Reserve, or from Wild Turkey, for that matter. The barrels were selected from rickhouse E on the Camp Nelson site—one of three Wild Turkey maturation campuses, along with Tyrone and McBrayer. Camp Nelson’s position by the Kentucky River exposes it to a variety of wind patterns throughout the year, and it also experiences consistent shading due to the dense canopy of trees that surrounds it. Altogether, the warehouse has one of the coolest microclimates on the Camp Nelson grounds, allowing for slower maturation. Master distiller Eddie Russell pulled barrels from the fifth floor of the seven-story warehouse.
The Single Rickhouse Collection: Camp Nelson E is available at retailers across the U.S., as well as at the Wild Turkey Distillery Visitor Center in Lawrenceburg. The whiskey will also appear in a vertical tasting of the Single Rickhouse Collection taking place on Monday, October 27; the event will be hosted by associate master blender Bruce Russell. If you’re interested in taking part in the tasting, you can subscribe to the Russell’s Reserve email list.
Westland Garryana 10th Edition American single malt
ABV: 50%
SRP: $150
Availability: 4,608 bottles
The 10th edition of Westland’s Garryana American single malt—a whiskey that highlights Quercus garryana, an oak species native to the Pacific Northwest—marks the Seattle distillery’s first-ever age statement release at 10 years old. While first and second-fill Garryana casks are, of course, the stars of the maturation show, the whiskey also spent time in Pedro Ximénez, rum, and bourbon barrels.
Garryana has impressed us in the past; the 8th edition of the whiskey took the No.-3 spot on our Top 20 list of 2023, becoming the first American single malt to break into the top three. This year, there are fewer bottles available than in years past, a result of grand theft whiskey wherein 3,000 bottles of Garryana were stolen from Westland’s warehouse in Burlington, Washington (an additional 9,000 bottles of other Westland whiskeys were also taken).
