Aero Club Bar: A great place to land
Seventy years ago, pilot Maryann Prophet and her husband built Aero Club as a gathering place for her jet-setting friends. Since then, the neon sign of a Delta Dart has welcomed all walks, from cops to Greyhound bus drivers, with great booze and a friendly atmosphere. Today, visitors come to relax in a booth, listen to the jukebox, and ogle the eclectic kitsch that all great hometown bars amass over decades. The menu offers more than 1,100 whiskies, 20 beers on tap, and 16 craft cocktails.
The Whiskey House: An old-fashioned bar
Offers: Food, Flights
The Whiskey House lives up to its name with an astounding 30 pages of whisky from all over the world, including Pappy Van Winkle 23 year old and other rare selections. As if 1,800 whiskies aren’t enough, there are also 36 whisky flights and ten variations of the Old Fashioned. House-made sausages, freshly ground burgers, exotic cheeses, and charcuterie make for fortifying sustenance.
