This session presents Sonoma Distilling Founder and Whiskeymaker Adam Spiegel leading a discussion and tasting of how he and his co-workers create 100% California whiskey sourcing only non-GMO California grains and doing all production in house, from milling and mashing through bottling and labeling.

Join Hotaling & Co. Head Distiller Bruce Joseph for an inspired opportunity to taste through multiple expressions of Old Potrero as well as the new J.H. Cutter Whiskey. Learn all about the history behind America’s first pot-distilled whiskey since prohibition and about the special care and dedication that goes into each bottle. Hand made in San Francisco, since 1996.

Taste and learn from one of Scotland’s longest serving master distillers, Dennis Malcolm. Dennis will be offering the Glen Grant range: 12 yr., 15 yr., and 18 yr.
Thursday, November 1
An informational guided tasting of Canadian whiskies focused on the flavors found in them, utilizing The Canadian Whisky Flavour Wheel©. The session will be led by the man who both made the whiskey and created the wheel, the master blender at Canada’s Corby distillery: Dr. Don Livermore.
Saturday, November 3
We welcome Steph Ridgway, aka The Whisky Chick, as she presents two brands you may not know, but should: Speyburn and Old Pulteney. Steph and our own local Brand Ambassador Ashley Afferino will be on hand to fill you in on all of the details of these delicious malt whiskies.

Join the team from Westward Whiskey and San Francisco legend Erik Adkins for a post-WhiskyFest Lift after the weekend. Hard Water will be serving NOLA-inspired food with curated Westward Whiskey cocktails including a unique tasting experience from fermentation to barrel finishes from the world’s best American Single Malt Whiskey
